Letters to legislators from BadgerCare Plus recipients

Many BadgerCare Plus recipients are confused and frustrated by the new program. If you're one of these patients, tell your local state representative(s). The WDA has developed four letter templates for you to customize and send to your legislators.

Additionally, dental professionals who also are frustrated by the recent changes being implemented in the state's BadgerCare Plus system can use the letters below to educate their elected officials and communicate their frustrations.

Patients and dental professionals can rewrite any of these letters, add comments or simply sign them as is and mail to their local legislators. Any of these options is another way to bring this issue to the desks of state policy-makers and show them how a system that was supposed to help all Wisconsin residents has, in some instances, actually hindered their ability to access care.

Contact Erika Brown in the WDA Legislative Office at 608-250-3442 or e-mail ebrown@wda.org with further questions.
