Grants

Donated Dental Services
Donated Dental Services (DDS) is a program directed at those people who are unable to afford needed dental care because of a limited income which is clearly linked to a permanent disability, chronic illness or advanced age (65 and over).

Wisconsin State Dental Golf Tournament
The 2012 Wisconsin State Dental Golf Tournament is set for Monday Sept. 10 at Hidden Glen Golf Club in Cedarburg. You’ll be Putting for a Purpose because, for the second year in a row, proceeds from the event will benefit the projects and programs of the WDA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Wall of Wine
The 2011 WDA Foundation Wall of Wine, held at the House of Delegates, raised nearly $2,000 to support the projects and programs that bring dental health to the disadvantaged of Wisconsin.

245 elderly, disabled receive $762,000 in donated dental care
WEST ALLIS, WIS., Aug. 25, 2011 - Two-hundred and forty-five disabled, senior, poor and uninsured adults across the state received $762,366 worth of comprehensive dental treatment at no cost to them from some 200 volunteer dentists between July 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011 under the Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation's Donated Dental Services program. In addition, 75 dental laboratories gave $42,151 in materials and services.

WDA Foundation awards $14,000 in dental and hygiene scholarships
WEST ALLIS, WIS., July 20, 2011 – The WDA Foundation has awarded $14,000 in scholarships to 11 state residents attending dental or dental hygiene school in Wisconsin.

WDA Foundation awards $38,100 to 19 dental health programs
WEST ALLIS, WIS., April 26, 2011 – The Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation has announced $38,100 in grants to 19 programs that bring oral health care to low-income Wisconsin residents and provide other dentistry-related services.

Annual session fundraising efforts generate $8,300
The WDA Foundation hosted three fundraising events at the 2011 Jewel of the Great Lakes Wisconsin Dental Meeting, including the "Show Me the Money" raffle with a grand prize of $5,000, a silent auction and handbag and accessory sale.

Mondovi's Dr. Anthony Sciascia new president of dental association foundation
WEST ALLIS, WIS., Feb. 15, 2011 – Dr. Anthony M. Sciascia, a Mondovi resident and general dentist, was elected president of the Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation during the organization's 53rd annual meeting. His term runs through December 2011.

WDA Foundation now a member of Community Health Charities
The WDA Foundation is now a member of Community Health Charities of Wisconsin, which provides health charities with access to employee giving campaigns across the state.
