WDA dues hold steady

The House adopted a $3.15 million budget for 2009 with no dues increase. Only once in the past seven years has the WDA raised dues and that was only $10 in 2007.

Membership classifications and dues rates include:

• Active member, $835
• Full-time faculty, $209
• Practicing life, $250
• Retired, $125
• Enrolled in advanced training program, $30
• Serving full-time for charitable organization, $5
• Affiliate/non-residents, $75
• Associate, $20

Dues are pro-rated for recent dental school graduates:

• First year out, $0
• Second year out, 25 percent
• Third year out, 50 percent
• Fourth year out, 75 percent

If you wish to pay your 2009 dues by credit card and have the transaction posted in 2008 for tax purposes, we must receive your credit card information no later than noon on Dec. 30, 2008. 

WDA offices will be closed Dec. 24-26, 2008 for the Christmas holiday and on Dec. 31, 2008 and Jan. 1-2, 2009 for the New Year holiday.

Dues must be paid in full by Jan. 31, 2009 if you'd like your ADA card sent to you in time for the Chicago Midwinter Meeting.
