Dues payments

Payment options on the improved invoice

  • NEW - Direct Automatic Payment Plan
A new service for 2012 membership dues payments. Have dues automatically deducted in six (6) equal installments from a designated checking account (there is no fee for this direct withdrawal service).

This option allows members to manage their cash flow by paying dues in smaller increments. We encourage members to use this new direct payment option, because it also helps minimize WDA expenses. The WDA currently pays more than $20,000 in credit card fees just to process dues each year - that's about $10 per dues-paying member. This also saves the amount of staff time needed to post transactions.

Forms were mailed in mid-November; if you misplaced yours, click here to download.

Note if you sign up for DAPP and later change checking accounts, please notify the WDA. Call 800-364-7646 or email ahart@wda.org.
  • Mail
Return the appropriate remittance slip with your payment, payable to Wisconsin Dental Association, and mail to:

    Wisconsin Dental Association
    Dept 5450
    PO Box 1451
    Milwaukee, WI 53201
  • Phone
Call 800-364-7646 to pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard and Discover accepted)

Important notice: Dues payments are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes to the extent that payments are not made to 501(c)(3) organizations. Under U.S. tax law, only that portion of an association member's dues not attributable to lobbying activities is deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. For 2012, 8.8 percent of American Dental Association dues and 15 percent of WDA dues are allocable to lobbying activities and, therefore, nondeductible as a business expense.

WDA Foundation

While dues payments are not tax-deductible, voluntary donations to the WDA Foundation included with your annual dues statement are tax-deducible to the full extent of the law.

The WDA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, so any donation made to it is tax-deductible.

Please keep the foundation in mind when you are paying your annual membership dues. Your gift will help thousands of disadvantaged Wisconsin residents receive the dental care they desperately need and will support the current and future needs of the dental profession.

About the WDA

The WDA was established in 1870. Today it is the leading voice of the dental profession in Wisconsin with approximately 3,000 member dentists or 85 percent of all licensed dentists in our state choosing to belong.

Our mission: Advance the interests of WDA members and the dental profession by promoting professional excellence and quality oral health care for the public.

Volunteer dentists serving as officers and regional trustees lead the organization and direct 18 employees in two offices (West Allis and Madison) to provide members with mission-supporting programs that advocate, educate, empower and serve.
