Dr. Timothy (Tim) Durtsche

Wisconsin Dental Association President-Elect Dr. Tim Durtsche is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who lives and practices in La Crosse, Wis.

He joined WDA leadership in 2004 as a trustee for the Southwest Region. Dr. Durtsche is a past-president of the La Crosse District Dental Society and the Wisconsin Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

A former chief of hospital staff, he currently chairs the dental staff at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare. He also is an adjunct clinical faculty member for the Gunderson-Lutheran Oral and Maxillofacial Residency.

A University of Minnesota School of Dentistry graduate, he has an oral and maxillofacial surgery certificate from University of Minnesota Hospitals. Dr. Durtsche is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, International College of Dentists and American College of Dentists.

Dr. Durtsche and his wife Sue were local co-chairs for the first WDA Foundation and WDA Mission of Mercy held in La Crosse in June 2009. He is a Donated Dental Services volunteer, former co-chair of the La Crosse Fluoridation Initiative and a past-president of the Rotary Foundation of La Crosse.
