Dr. Richard Lofthouse
Dr. Dick Lofthouse, a general dentist with a private practice in Fennimore, Wis., is serving his third term as speaker of the Wisconsin Dental Association House of Delegates. In this role, he presides over the state organization’s annual policymaking body.
Dr. Lofthouse previously served on the WDA board from 1999 – 2005 as a Southwest Region trustee. He also co-chaired the WDA Emergency Preparedness Committee for four years.
Prior to joining the WDA Board of Trustees, Dr. Lofthouse served multiple terms as president of the Southwestern District Dental Society.
Dr. Lofthouse is a fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, American College of Dentists and International College of Dentists.
Retired as a brigadier general from the Iowa Army National Guard Dental Corps, Dr. Lofthouse served on the Boscobel Area Health Care Board of Trustees from 1990 – 2002.
He completed a one-year general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs’ Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio after graduation from Marquette University School of Dentistry.
