FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WEST ALLIS, WIS., Feb. 28, 2008 – The Wisconsin Dental Association and its WDA Insurance Programs and WDA Professional Services subsidiaries today announced multiple personnel actions involving staff in the West Allis and Madison offices.

Mara T. Roberts of Waukesha has been promoted to WDAIP vice president. Since joining the West Allis-based insurance group in 1995, Roberts has served as an account executive, sales manager and director of sales and marketing. A University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee graduate, she is certified as a chartered life underwriter, registered health underwriter and registered employee benefits consultant.

The West Allis-based WDAPS subsidiary has hired Milwaukee resident and UW-Milwaukee graduate Brett Lindstrom as marketing supervisor for its growing line of electronic dental record products.

Debora Olson of Brookfield is the new WDA controller. A certified public accountant, Olson heads the organization’s recently restructured accounting team in its West Allis headquarters. Olson was controller at the Milwaukee Art Museum prior to joining the WDA. She holds a bachelor’s degree from UW–Madison and a master’s in business administration from UW–Whitewater.

Also new to the WDA accounting team are Milwaukee residents Renee Foster, Shelia McIntyre and Lisa Schubring. Foster, who had her own tax preparation service for 14 years, handles accounts receivable. McIntyre brings extensive experience in accounts payable, customer service and general accounting within the manufacturing, food and beverage and health care industries to her new post. With WDAIP since 1993, Schubring now has responsibility for WDAIP and WDAPS accounting tasks.

Government Services Assistant Sabrina Fordyce has joined the statewide dental association’s Legislative Office in Madison. A Madison resident, she brings 10 years of administrative experience to the WDA.

Erika Brown also recently joined the WDA Legislative Office as a dental practice and government relations associate. Brown, a Brodhead resident, graduated from Upper Iowa University.

Established in 1870, the WDA has more than 2,900 members statewide. It represents the vast majority of practicing dentists in Wisconsin.
