Dental Work Force Study - 2001
This publication presents summary information for Wisconsin from the 2001 Dentist Work Force Survey. Wisconsin had 4,563 licensed dentists in 2001, of whom 4,301 (94 percent) responded to the survey. The data in this publication are self-reports, not verified with other sources of data. The General Information section includes data on all reporting Wisconsin licensed dentists. The remaining sections present information for the 2,842 dentists practicing in Wisconsin.

WDA Work Force Summary Report - 2000
To better understand the future need for dental services in Wisconsin and the projected availability of dentists to meet those needs, the WDA commissioned researchers at the University of Connecticut Health Center to collect, analyze and interpret data to estimate changes in these areas during the next 10 years. The research was conducted in 2000 and the report released in 2001.
