Smile Contest
The happy smiles of 156 children, ages newborn to 16 years, lit up the Funjet Fun Stage in the Expo Center at the 20th annual WDA Smile Contest at the Wisconsin State Fair presented by U.S. Cellular on Friday, Aug. 10. The Smile Contest promotes dental health awareness while allowing children to compete for prizes.
Stamp Out Spit Tobacco
For the seventh year, the WDA has teamed up with the Milwaukee Brewers, Group One Marketing and Wisconsin’s Departments of Public Instruction and Health and Family Services to decrease spit tobacco use among youth.
National Children's Dental Health Month
Many WDA member dentists and and dental professionals across the state visit classrooms and host activities for area children each February to educate about and promote healthy dental hygiene habits.
