National Children's Dental Health Month Many WDA member dentists and and dental professionals across the state visit classrooms and host activities for area children each February to educate about and promote healthy dental hygiene habits. WDA sunsets Smile Contest after 23 years Although the Smile Contest has been discontinued, the WDA is exploring ways to continue promoting important family oral health message with the fun of a contest through the WDA “Baby Teeth Matter” public awareness campaign.
