Invite legislators using NEW customizable letter

Adequate funding for dental care for Wisconsin's underserved residents continues to be neglected in the state's Medicaid budget. It is important we continue to advocate for the state to fulfill its promise to its most vulnerable residents.
Charitable care cannot fulfill the oral health care needs of the estimated 1 million people (almost 20 percent of the state’s population) who seek dental treatment through the state’s medical assistance programs annually.
Help communicate this message by inviting your legislators to your GKAS event to show them how you serve those in your community. It is also a perfect opportunity to educate them on the basic differences between the medical and dental care delivery models and the important connection between oral health and overall well-being.
The WDA has developed a sample letter you can customize and send to your legislators.
Not sure who your legislators are? View the Wisconsin Legislative Directory.
Please call 800-364-7646 if you would like assistance sending a letter to your legislator.
