PATIENT RESOURCES
Help educate your patients about the importance of making healthy choices and the link between oral health and overall health. The WDA has developed patient education materials to help.
"Brush & Floss or Else..." is the WDA's latest dental health education program about the impact of oral health on overall well-being. Two brochures are available - one on the periodontal disease-diabetes connection and the other on the gum disease-heart disease link.
Since 2003, the WDA has licensed "Sip All Day, Get Decay" materials from the Minnesota Dental Association to help Wisconsin dental professionals educate patients about the dangers of excessive soft drink sipping. Brochures in English, Spanish, Hmong and Vietnamese are available along with stickers, magnets, flyers and posters.
