This is a two-part course that includes a four-hour online prerequisite portion and a two-hour in-person classroom portion.
- The online prerequisite portion is self-paced and asynchronous, so you can work on it at your own convenience.
- The required prerequisite portion will be available Monday, September 8, 2025.
- Keep in mind that while you can start the course at any time, the prerequisite portion must be completed by the in-person classroom date on Friday, October 10, 2025.
This course will review Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) concepts and its application with clinical dentistry. Participants will learn the fundamentals of CBCT. In addition, the learner will understand how CBCT differs from other types of digital dental imaging, including interpretation along with hands on training option.
Competencies:
- Describe fundamentals of CBCT in relation to dentistry.
- Provide interpretation of CBTC imaging in dentistry
- Apply hands on training of CBCT imaging with clinical practice
