Marquette University School of Dentistry – Pierre Fauchard Academy – Wisconsin Dental Association Mentor Program
The Marquette University School of Dentistry – Pierre Fauchard Academy – Wisconsin Dental Association Mentor Program works to integrate the dentists of tomorrow with the dental community of today. Through the program, student-protégés obtain counsel and guidance necessary to begin a career in the dental profession. Dentist-mentors also benefit from this type of professional relationship, staying apprised of practice sale population and the interests of soon-to-be new dentists.
A practicing dentist is paired with each dental student, typically at the start of their first year, to develop a mentor-protégé relationship. A kickoff dinner at the start of each school year creates a welcoming connection for all participants.
Each mentor-protégé pair defines how they want their relationship to progress, including how and when they are in contact. Several learning and networking events are scheduled throughout the school year. Informal and face-to-face communication is encouraged and highly recommended for a successful experience.
If you would like to become a mentor, please contact Candice Wegner at email@example.com.

Utilizing Technology to Enhance Clinical Results & Patient Experiences
Join Dr. Mona Patel as she reviews digital workflows for general dentistry that she utilizes in her daily practice to obtain more predictable clinical outcomes. She will share insight into various types of dental technology available today, clinical examples, and how leveraging that technology has impacted her practice health and return on investments. Her objective is to have you gain a deeper understanding of why digital scanners, CBCT, 3D printing, AI software, etc. are now considered the standard of care for dentistry with examples of everyday clinical cases.
Special thanks to Pierre Fauchard Academy for underwriting programming expenses keeping these free of charge
Please note that the above events are open to Mentor Program participants only and pre-registration is required.
