Privacy Policy
Our commitment to security
The Foundation’s web pages have an SSL certificate (Secure Sockets Layer), which is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral.
The Foundation uses Authorize.Net in the processing of donations. Authorize.Net is committed to providing donors with the highest level of transaction processing security. In addition, credit card information is stored temporarily on Authorize.net to allow for processing. Access to the data is strictly limited.
Types of information we collect and how it is used
The Foundation gathers personal information, such as first and last names, home addresses, email addresses and credit card numbers, when voluntarily submitted by you. If you make an online donation or register for a program or event, personal information will be collected from you in order to process that donation or registration.
With your permission, we may use personal information collected from you to send you Foundation materials. This may include, but is not limited to, newsletters, special event invitations and solicitations to raise funds in support of the Foundation’s programs. If you elect not to receive such materials, you are advised to call or email us to be removed from our contact lists.
Sharing of personal information
We will not sell, share or trade our donors’/event participants’ personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to those individuals on behalf of other organizations. We may use your personal information to contact you in the future.

However, these companies may only use such personal information for the purpose of performing that function and may not use it for any other purpose.
