The course will provide a review of the current CDC infection
control guidance and related OSHA directives for dental healthcare settings.
The course will provide the rationale for compliance through an evidence-based
approach consisting of current events and literature on prevalent risks
associated with the delivery of dental care in the post-pandemic era, including
strategies for best practices to ensure the health and safety of team members
and patients. The course fulfills the infection control continuing education
requirement for Wisconsin licensure.
