WDA Mission of Mercy

It’s the smiles – not the miles – that make it a mission.

The Wisconsin Dental Association and WDA Foundation are busy planning for the next Mission of Mercy in summer 2018.

Details, including date and location, will be posted on WDA.org in spring 2018.

  • Please use the Find-A-Dentist button at the top of all WDA.org pages to find WDA member dentists near you. Then, call and ask about payment plans, because many WDA member dentists want to work with people to help them afford their care.
  • WDA also maintains a list of reduced-rate dental clinics across the state (alphabetical by county). These are not WDA clinics, but many of our members volunteer their time and dental skills to treating low-income patients at these clinics.
  • IF you are in dental pain and have a fever or swelling, please do not wait for Mission of Mercy. Go to a hospital emergency room or urgent care center as soon as possible.

A YouCaring fundraising page has been set up to make giving easy.

Every donation, regardless of amount, makes a positive impact on those in need of oral care. Plus you can help even more by sharing the link with your friends, colleagues and family. The more people who receive the link, the more donations the clinic is likely to receive.

Whether you plan to join the more than 1,000 volunteers during the clinic or just want to show your support, please check out the Mission of Mercy page at www.youcaring.com/wdamissionofmercymilwaukee and make a donation in any amount that fits your budget.

If you are interested in volunteering for WDA Mission of Mercy in 2018, please send email to cshoemaker@wda.org.
