WEST ALLIS, WIS. – The Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA) today announced that Christine Jacobs has been named director of membership and communications. She will be responsible for member recruitment, retention and programming, as well as strategic communications and public relations.

Jacobs brings more than 25 years of experience in communications, public engagement and nonprofit leadership to the position. She joins the WDA from Guest House of Milwaukee, where she served as director of donor and volunteer engagement. In that role, she effectively managed cross-functional responsibilities, including leading the volunteer program, securing a $97,000 capital improvements grant and directing the organization’s public relations efforts to increase community awareness and donor support.

“Christine brings a wealth of experience in communications, public engagement and strategic leadership that will greatly benefit our members and the dental community across Wisconsin,” said Brenna Sadler, executive director of the Wisconsin Dental Association. “Her proven ability to connect with diverse audiences and lead meaningful initiatives makes her an outstanding addition to our team and a great resource for our members.”

Prior to her time at Guest House of Milwaukee, Jacobs held a leadership position at a Milwaukee-based communications firm and provided freelance consulting on communications, writing, public relations and community engagement to a number of Southeast Wisconsin clients.

Jacobs is a graduate of Carroll University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She holds the Public Relations Society of America’s Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) and was a 2024 winner of the organization’s Paragon Award of Distinction.
